We run (cuban style) salsa lessons in Chester every Monday and Tuesday. If you have ever wanted to learn this fun and sociable dance then why not come along and have a go. No need to bring a partner, all levels welcome. We operate on a drop-in basis so there is no need to book. in advance. We also run Kizomba classes every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month.
Beginners 730pm (1st lesson free for new students)
Improvers 830pm
Social Dance & practice 930pm till 1030pm
£4 for the whole evening (social dance only free)
Additional info: free parking available. Mcleans also offer good value food and drinks.

Additional info: Closest car parks are Frodsham St (£1.50, 24hr operation) or Market St (free after 3pm - 1130pm). Some on street parking is available on Bridge and Watergate Streets. Please note Lakota operates a policy restricting access to over 18's only after 8pm. (Clan Cuban have no control over this)
If you cannot make our salsa lessons we would recommend you try other Cuban Salsa classes from our recommended list or if you prefer to have private salsa lessons, we can tailor them to suit your individual needs. We can also provide lessons in Merengue, Bachata, Rueda or Modern Jive.

Thanks for visiting our web site, we are a group of salsa teachers, DJ's and salsero's based in the Chester and North Wales area. This site is aimed at providing information on Cuban Salsa and the other mainstream latin dances such as Bachata, Merengue and Rueda. We list salsa classes in Chester & the local area along with related events, (most of them salsa/latin in theme) and we regularly post videos to demonstrate a variety of styles and sections of our teaching syllabus.
At Clan Cuban we believe that SALSA is a lifestyle choice, not just a dance. It is a great way to keep fit, to improve flexibility and most importantly to have fun and meet new friends who share your passion for dance.
SALSA is the Spanish word for sauce with a spicy flavour. It also suggests a mixture of ingredients, found in most stories of the term's origins. Salsa dance itself has many influences from various dance styles such as African Rumba, Son, Mambo, Cha Cha, Rueda, Jive, Reggaeton and many more.
